Tasyakuran Dies Natalis 65 Years of Chemistry Education Department FMIPA UNY

In 2021, the Department of Chemistry Education, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, has entered its 65th year! As a commemoration of the anniversary, a series of Dies Natalis activities have been held. Head of the 65th Anniversary, Yoga Febriadi reported that the anniversary series had been held since September. Several competition activities such as POSKIM which includes PUBG and Moblie Legend e-sports competition, Chemistry Art Festival, and social action in Sedayu District, Bantul Regency which includes Eco-Print and blood donation training, as well as a Webinar Series. The Tasyakuran event is the culmination of the 65th Anniversary of the Chemistry Education Department.

The event began with remarks from the head of the chemical education department, Dr. Retno Arianingrum. There are quite a number of achievements of Jurdik Kimia in this 65th Anniversary, including (1) obtaining a grant for independent learning activities from the ministry and (2) ASIIN's international accreditation being fulfilled for 5 years. However, as it is known that there are joys and sorrows, Jurdik Kimia has lost two colleagues, family, teachers, Alm. Dr. Crys Fajar Partana and Alm. Dr. rer. nat. Senam, hopefully the knowledge he gave will be the good of the late. As for Dr. Retno also expressed her gratitude to all parties who have been involved in the 65th anniversary of 2021. Hopefully in the future the department of chemistry education will be more successful.

The second speech was delivered by the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Jaslin Ikhsan, M.AppSc, Ph.D. In terms of Human Resources (HR), the Department of Chemistry Education is considered to be the Department with the best quality human resources as evidenced by the positions of the highest Professor and Associate Professor. Meanwhile, based on the recapitulation of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) that in other respects, the Department of Chemistry Education is the largest grant recipient from various fields, both research, service, and competition. Not inferior to the achievements of Lecturers, students of the Chemistry Education Department have also participated in many competitions or competitions that have resulted in winners. So far, Yogyakarta State University (UNY) has obtained the best achievement in the Main Performance Indicators (IKU). Therefore, FMIPA is trying to improve the quality, namely by achieving the highest achievement of KPI realization. Foreign partners who collaborate with the Department of Chemistry Education make Jurdik Kimia have the highest quantity. Reflection that "if there is no improvement in life, you will lose, if there is no improvement, then you will be miserable" therefore it is necessary to continue mapping the results of the next Jurdik Kimia, so that it can be realized with certain relevant strategies. Through his speech, Prof. Jaslin Ikhsan, M.AppSc., Ph.D officially opened the 2021 tasyakuran event.

Tasyakuran was continued with a prayer guided by the students on behalf of Mr. Annas. As the highlight of the event, the cone cutting was carried out, represented by a Senior Lecturer, Prof. Dr. Endang Widjajanti, LFX and Junior Lecturer, Nur Fitriyana, M.Pd. Through her speech, Prof. Endang said that for 65 years Jurdik Kimia had organized education and produced human resources who were able to compete abroad. As for students who are still studying at Jurdik Kimia to continue to be enthusiastic about learning so that they are able to improve the competence of graduates.
