October 22, 2020, Tasyakruran with the theme "A gratitude to build a spirit of achievement leading to a superior generation" being part of the Anniversary of the Department of Chemistry Education, UNY which was held through Zoom Cloud that attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Prof. Dr. Ariswan and VIce Dean, all lecturers, education staff, and students of the Chemistry Education Department. In his remarks, the Dean of FMIPA UNY expressed his appreciation for the Chemistry Education Department because continues to contribute to the achievements of the faculty, university, and enthusiasm to deliver students to be excellent generation. Ridho of Allah SWT, hopefully the Department of Chemistry Education can continue to contribute to institutional development. Besides that, the achievements of increasing the number of Professors and Associate Professor were also delivered by Dr. Retno Arianingrum as Head of the Department of Chemistry Education in her speech.

Potong tumpeng which is the hallmark of the tasyakuran, this year represented by our senior lecturer, Prof. Dr. Indyah Sulistyo Arty, M.S accompanied by the Head of the Department and the Chemistry Study Program Coordinator, Dr. Retno Arianingrum, as well as the Coordinator of the Chemistry Education Study Program, Dr. Antuni Wiyarsi, M.Sc, and our youngest lecturer  Nur Fitriyana, M.Pd. Our lecturer who has retired, Ir. Endang Dwi Siswani, M.T., expressed her enthusiasm for all lecturers and students in developing knowledge and upholding the ethics and the name of the institution.

Being part of this series of events was the announcement of the winner of the green chemistry learning media and video competition. Therefore, 3 competition finalists from each field participated as the 64th invitation guests. In the green chemical video category, the first winner was Mr. Rizal Aditya Irfai S.Pd, MSc (MA MBS ROUDHOTUN NASYI'IN JATINOM KLATEN); 2nd winner Mr. Sudono, S, Pd (SMA N 2 YOGYAKARTA) and 3rd place is Mrs. Hj. Annisa Budhiarti, S.Pd.Si (PKBM HSPG-Homeschooling Primagama). As for the chemistry learning media competition category, 1st place was won by Mr. Yogo Dwi Prasetyo, M.Sc (SMAN 1 Yogyakarta), 2nd place winner was Mr. Marcus Rustanta, M.Pd (SMA Stella Duce 2 Yogyakarta) and 3rd place was Mrs. Shinta Pramudyasiwi, S .Pd (SMA STELLA DUCE 1 YOGYAKARTA). The spirit of continuing the dream in the midst of the storm was conveyed at the talk show that deliverded by Bisma Putra, S.Pd.
