Student Thesis Proposal Seminar: Class of 2018

Chemistry Education Undergraduate Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta, has held a student thesis proposal seminar (TAS) on Friday, December 03, 2021. The TAS proposal seminar event is for 2018 class students and is held online via the zoom cloud meetings. It was opened by the coordinator of the Chemical Education S1 study program, Dr. Antuni Wiyarsi, M.Sc, the seminar was attended by 24 lecturers and 49 students.

The purpose of the TAS porposal seminar is as an effort to monitor and accelerate the preparation and implementation of the TAS. All students who are divided into 7 seminar rooms, have made presentations according to the type of research proposed, such as quasi-experimental research, development, survey, qualitative, or mixed method. Each student presented the TAS proposal to each of the discussing lecturers. The discussion of student research proposals is prioritized on suggestions and improvements so that research can be carried out better. The enthusiasm of students in participating in the activity may be a spirit to follow up on input from the lecturers of the discussion team in carrying out their research and completing the final thesis.
