The MBKM Curriculum Review for Chemistry Education Study Program

Friday, 18 December 2020, a MBKM curriculum review for the Chemistry Education study program, FMIPA, UNY was carried out by presenting Dr. Maria Paristiowati, M.Si from Jakarta State University as a reviewer. The activity was attended by the Coordinator of the Chemistry Education Study Prgram, Dr. Antuni Wiyarsi, Secretary of the Chemistry Education Department, Erfan Priyambodo, M.Si, and the chemistry education curriculum team Prof. Dr. Eli Rohaeti, Heru Pratomo Al, M.Si, Rr. Lis Permana Sari, M.Si, Sukisman Purtadi, M.Pd, and Nur Fitriyana, M.Pd.

The review activities were held to obtain input into the developed MBKM curriculum. The results of this activity obtained several notes, 1) the vision and mission of the study program needs to be made explicitly and measurably, 2) it is necessary to sort the profile of graduates in order of priority of the graduate profile because in its achievement it requires additional competencies that are different in particular that support the achievement of the occupational profile of graduates such as entrepreneurs and researchers assistants, 3) in addition, SOP is required to take courses outside the study program, internship, Academic Advisory Guide, ang workload conversion.

The activities was carried out through zoom meetings.  The existence of curriculum review activities and having been supported by guidelines for implementing the MBKM curriculum of UNY, it is hoped that curriculum implementation can be carried out well.
