As many as 307 applicants from various institutions and occupations such as teachers / lecturers, students and practitioners, actively participated in the Webinar Series # 2 organized by the Department of Chemistry Education, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Saturday, 3 October 2020, Webinar with the theme Chemical Application for Waste Management presented Dr. Hendra Adhi from BATAN Serpong, and Prof. Dr. Suyanta from Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta.

Dr. Hendra Adhi Pratama is alumni of the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, UNY, 1999. He continued his master's education at the Chemistry Study Program-University of Indonesia, and a doctoral program at Kyoto University-Japan. Dr. Hendra conveyed about the challenges in managing nuclear waste in Indonesia. Then,  Prof. Dr. Suyanta is one of the professors in the Department of Chemistry Education, FMIPA, UNY in the field of Analytical Chemistry. He explained about the separation of metal ions in liquid waste by column filtration and electrocoagulation.
Through this webinar series # 2, it is hoped that it can add knowledge that is applicable and comprehensive to prepare a superior and competitive generation.
