The alumni meeting (S1 & S2) of the 2022 FMIPA UNY Chemistry Department was held on Saturday, October 1 2022. This activity aims to build friendship between universities and alumni. Thus, it is hoped that by holding this activity, positive habits will emerge in the future to complement each other and build cooperation for the progress of the alma mater. This alumni gathering activity was held at the FMIPA UNY faculty with the theme "Knitting Memories Building Chemistry for Alumni Synergy". This alumni gathering activity was attended by IKIP chemistry education alumni, FMIPA UNY chemistry education alumni, lecturers, educational staff and also other senior guests. Based on data collection on alumni who attended this activity, from the 1960s to the 2018 class.

This alumni gathering activity began with a leisurely walk on campus together to recall stories or memories of alumni while studying at IKIP Yogyakarta, which has now changed its name to Yogyakarta State University (UNY). This leisurely walk starts from the West FMIPA yard - Lab - Digilib - Library - Rectorate - - Post - Education Museum - FMIPA IDB (via Pancasila Field - South FMIPA followed by morning tea and breakfast together.

Then the activity continued in the room on the floor. 2 FMIPA for the Opening as well as giving welcoming remarks to alumni meeting participants. This activity was opened by Dr. Antuni Wiyarsi, M.Sc as chairman of the committee and welcoming remarks given by Kajur, Chairman of IKAKA, and also the Dean of FMIPA UNY. This activity was also filled with talks with alumni, singing together, lunch together and as well as games, distribution of door prizes.

It is hoped that with this alumni gathering activity, alumni will be able to see firsthand the development of this beloved campus after completing their education several years. Apart from that, alumni can also share their stories and experiences during their studies to become successful people.
